Watch repair
Bracelet and strap fitting.
A watch should sit comfortably without sliding down the wrist. We adjust metal bracelets by removing or adding links, fit new straps, and repair worn pins and clasps.
When you might need it.
- The watch slides around or pinches
- A new watch that still has its full bracelet
- A worn strap, or a loose or damaged clasp
- Stretched bracelet links or worn pins
What’s involved.
Sizing
Links are removed or added evenly on both sides of the clasp so the watch sits centered.
Straps
Straps are changed and spring bars fitted correctly for the lug width.
Clasps and pins
Loose clasps are adjusted and worn pins or screws replaced where parts are available.
Care at the bench.
What we watch for when we do bracelet and strap fitting.
Removed evenly
Links are taken from both sides of the clasp where possible, so the clasp sits centered under your wrist.
Pins and screws handled properly
Bracelets use pins, screws, or collars. Each is removed and refitted the way it was designed, without forcing.
Links returned
Removed links come back with the watch, in case your size changes or you sell the watch later.
Preliminary pricing.
Your preliminary price range is free and comes from your photos. The final price is confirmed after we inspect the piece in hand, and no work starts until you approve it.
What affects the price
- The type of bracelet: pin, screw, or friction-fit links
- Whether extra links or new parts are needed
- The strap, if you'd like us to supply one
If you’re mailing it in
Include your wrist measurement, or the length of a watch that fits well, and keep any removed links. Shipping only for bracelet sizing is usually worth it only when combined with other work.

Can you add links to my bracelet?
If matching links are available for your model, yes. Tell us the brand and model so we can check.
Should I keep the removed links?
Yes. We return removed links with the watch. They're needed if your size changes or if you sell the watch later.
Can you fit a new strap to my watch?
Yes. Tell us the watch and the strap you'd like, or ask us for options. The strap needs to match the watch's lug width.
