How we work on your jewelry.
Fine jewelry is small, and small mistakes show. These are the habits behind every repair.
Inspected under magnification
Prongs, settings, joins, and stamps are checked before we confirm a final price, so problems a photo can't show are caught early.
The right method for the piece
Stones that can't take heat, thin or worn metal, and plated finishes all change how a repair should be done. We choose the approach for your piece and explain it first.
Your approval at every turn
Work starts only after you approve the final price, and if anything changes during the repair, we contact you before going further.
Checked before it leaves
The original problem, nearby settings, and the finish are checked after the repair, and the result is documented against your repair ID.
How pricing works.
The same repair can cost more or less depending on the metal, the size, and the condition of the piece, so every price starts from your photos.
A free preliminary price
From your photos and description, we reply with a price range and what the repair involves.
A final price after inspection
Once the piece is in hand, we inspect it and confirm the final price before any work.
Work only with your approval
Nothing is touched until you say yes. If the price isn't right for you, you don't have to go ahead.
Mail-in, in three phases.
You don't ship anything until we've agreed on the price range and on how your piece will travel and be insured.

Common questions.
Can you tell what's wrong from photos?
Usually well enough to give a preliminary price range. If photos aren't enough, we'll tell you what else we need. The final price is confirmed once we inspect the piece in hand.
My piece has sentimental value. How careful can you be?
Tell us in your estimate request what matters most, for example keeping an engraving, the original stones, or the original metal. We'll explain the approach and any risks before any work begins.
Can I send more than one piece?
Yes. Mention every piece in your estimate request. Each one gets its own repair ID when it arrives, so they're tracked separately.
Send photos. Get a price. Decide from there.
The estimate is free and takes a few minutes. You’re under no obligation to go ahead.
